Nag Ashwin, the producer of Jathi Ratnalu and Faria met incidentally at Faria’s college fest where Nag was invited as a chief guest, and she happened to tell Nag that she was an actor. She has performed more than thirty times on various other platforms including Vizag and Udaipur.

She did theatre for almost five to six years with Dramanon, Nishumbita Group, Kisago Theatre and Film Production before her first web series named “Nakshatra”. While studying at college, she also started her acting career at the theatre named Samahaara. She mentioned that she was inspired by one of the belly dancer contestants of India’s Got Talent, Meher Malik. Although Faria loves free-style dancing, she has also learnt Kathak briefly, hip hop, house, whacking, belly dancing and dance hall styles. As her parents were really supportive and valued her talent, they got her an admission at Shamiak Davar’s dance classes and other workshops. Faria shared that her mom used to dance while carrying her because she has also been interested in dance since childhood. She completed her schooling in Meridian Bhavna’s School, Hyderabad. She has a younger sister, Inaya Abdullah.
